When I was 18, I stumbled across a flower shop and asked if the florist could make me somthing for my mum with £4.50. The florist took sympathy on my small budget and put together something so simple and beautiful, I was completly inspired!

I decided to source Floristry College courses near me and luckily found a leading UK course at Mysercough College in Preston. Within  two weeks I'd started the course.

Since finishing my course, with top grades and an abundance of floral knowledge, I started work in a well established Florist in East Lancashire. I soon discovered I wanted the freedom in what creating my own freelance business can offer. From that moment, I have never looked back.

I love being a florist. Its creativity has no end, it allows me to meet brilliant people and each time I am rewarded with remarkable sense of achievement of making a beautiful floral design. It always challenges you, which is why I do it and why will continue to love it.
